In the context of research in higher education, it’s good
news that HRD Minister Javadekar has spoken of making resources available
generously for research work. It should be taken care of in the education
policy and resources should be arranged as necessary. In today's era,
systematic and scientifically conducted research is preferred in place of any
custom or private belief. Scientific knowledge is more prestigious, because it
is trustworthy due to being reliable and legitimate. Today, a strong foundation
of their research can be seen in the economic and technological development of
developed nations.
In India too, many have been saved for promoting research work, but even today, we are not far behind in research in the country, but we are far behind than other countries. The tradition of research in modern India started in the universities and institutes established in the colonial period, which is more or less continuously going on in the same way. Sometimes the thought of research has been taken into consideration and some changes have come, but the culture of research is moving on its old leaks at most study centres. Some of these high study centres, which can be called 'the island of excellence', will definitely be found in the exception but research on most educational centres is like a beating beatings, in which some rituals are completed in one order. And PhD and Debit Degrees are given. Repetition in one research work has become a big problem and for other reasons, in the research, imitating theft and theft is also being done. With the rapid expansion of higher education, the university and the college were opened indiscriminately, but it is proving to be a difficult task to gather the necessary research resources for each one. Yes, research is happening but with all the standards of quality standards. Higher education and related businesses require a degree in research or a PhD degree. It has a great value, because without it the gate of business progress does not open. As a result, research becomes compulsion. Willingness or reluctance i.e. any degree of research in any way is being compulsory by postgraduate degree holders. In this way most of the research papers are not true and standards are given for friendship, kindness, or any other reason. These researches do not have too much value for the student itself. Enhancing knowledge gained from those research works or hoping for new knowledge proves to be misery. In fact, the Indian context of research today is becoming complicated and there is a lot of dissatisfaction among the beneficiaries of higher education that seems to be spreading about its utility and quality. The situation of natural and biological is somewhat better and in them the international standards of knowledge are not ignored, but as per the latest report of the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) on social research in India, the situation of social sciences is worrying. In the tradition of modern studies, the practice of classical study of society, person and culture has considered itself science, especially physics, its ideal. It’s objective is to create universal rule theory based on the facts obtained from external observation. For this, quantification was considered a weapon. Attempts were made to change every experience, event, or attribute of the electorate into the form of a science. As a result of the colonization, Indian and Indian realities from western specs continued without worrying about the fact that India is second in this view and the thinking of study is based in the western days. Instead of imposing imported concepts and principles from outside culture, efforts to find concepts and principles in culture are more important. Now the need for culture-specific study methods is also being experienced. It is important to make knowledge relevant in its context. Perhaps by breaking the boundaries of the statutes, there is a possibility of the development of knowledge. The democratic form of research in social sciences expects people to have a reputation for it. Those common people who adopt ideas and principles should lead their lives. They are not only sources of information but also sources of knowledge. Understanding socio-cultural context can only be a meaningful research. India has a rich history of understanding ethical, social, economic, mental and spiritual aspects of human behavior. It needs to be identified and tested in modern terms. For the reputation of research, we have to re-invent our knowledge.
